White Christmas?

Hello everybody. Another jolly cold day today although no snow where we are! A friend of mine told me yesterday that she had heard we are predicted a white Christmas this year. I’m quite the old romantic and would love it if it did happen but it’s been so long since we did have one i’m not sure that im all that convinced. I do think that global warming must be playing a part in all of this, as I remember so much more snow when I was a child. Deep snow that you would have to dig your car out of that would last for days and days; it just doesn’t seem to happen anymore. I’ve been thinking a lot about these green issues when I heard about this months discoverybox competition which is a “green projects” competition. Basically, the kids have to come up with a report describing what their green project would be and the top ten will receive one hundred pounds to put the idea into action!! I think thats really great. I’m going to sit with my kids this weekend so we can all come up with the plan together. I think it will be a really fun and creative activity we can all enjoy, and it may even help to protect our planet. Then hopefully my grandchildren can dream of a white Christmas too!
