Hey there everyone!
I hope you are all well! I was listening to the radio this morning while doing my housework and Ant and Dec were on; I found it really funny! I love them on the television shows I have seen them on as I think they still promote wholesome family fun.

Anyway, they were on because they are doing lots of great charity work this week; I was impressed by this so thought I would give them a mention in my blog! What they are up to is competing to see who can sell the most singles this week, with the proceeds going to great charities like childline and help the aged. Ant has chosen a S club Seven song, whereas Dec has gone for one of my favourite songs; Wham’s “Wake me up before you go go!” I have already bought my copy, as its all for a good cause and I must admit I would like wham to be the top song! I bought my copy here and it was only 79p.
Anyway, I would encourage everyone to get involved as I think its a great cause and a bit of fun really! I’m sure the kids will think its great!
Bye for now everyone!
Hello everyone.
Fliss found a video on youtube of a girl pop band that she thought was “awesome” and decided that she wants to form a girl band with her two best friends. They’re called the Dolly Rockers and a bit like the Spice Girls of the noughties. So yesterday Beth and Lucy came over after school for their first rehearsals of their new band called “The Fairy Cakes”. They didn’t actually do any singing or dancing though, last night was soley working on their new look, which is mainly lots of makeup and short skirts. They did look sweet, but it scared me how quickly my baby is growing up.
So while Fliss was busy with her friends, Mia, the boys and I made scotch eggs. We had a bit of a backlog of eggs as we’re not able to eat them as fast they the hens are laying them. So I thought we could make scotch eggs for their packed lunches. I found this great recipe that is so quick, but I obviously replace Lion eggs, with our hen’s eggs though.
They were a great success actually and they’ve all got them in their packed lunches today. Does anyone have any other ideas for lunch boxes? I can imagine they get bored with sandwiches, fruit and vegetable dips.
